Primarily special education teachers, counselors, social workers, and SEL specialists. Classroom teachers at our alternative HS are involved with direct support.
We developed a neurodevelopmentally sensitive curriculum that is vertically aligned PK-12. The curriculum develops students social, emotional, prosocial and cognitive self regulation skills. The teacher instructional practices taught as part of the curriculum develop students self-efficacy, resiliency, and promote a growth mindset.
